This map arrived in excellent and new condition as expected. There was no toxic smell. I am happy that our kids were so excited to receive their new map. The size is great to capture our kids attention and to study. The colors are even more vibrant in person. The laminate works well. Yet, the map isn't very sturdy and rips easily. And I am not a fan of some of the details such as names covering places and unnamed places. Overall, I am happy with this map because it encouraged our kids to ask questions about the world.
