About Us

Hopscotch Children's Store is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, carrying learning games and toys, baby gear, cloth diapers, children's gifts and more in the thriving East Hills neighborhood.

Hopscotch was created by sisters Rachel and Chris in 2005, when they decided to open a children’s store that specialized in locally crafted products. Since then, the store has been a part of the East Hills business district, featuring products from fair trade artisans, small US manufacturers, Michigan-based companies and sustainable/eco-conscious manufacturers.

In 2017, husband and wife team Mark and Emily took over Hopscotch Children’s Store, continuing the store’s mission to help our customers discover unique, educational products that will inspire children and parents, including quality items that are locally made, organic and sustainable.
